The Toxic Substances Program’s objective is to prevent the release of lead-based paint, asbestos, and Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) to the environment resulting in less exposure of these substances to people, reducing potential health hazards.
In addition, we provide information regarding the requirements for obtaining individual and firm lead-based paint (LBP) certification and guidelines for properly conducting LBP activities.
